Everything I've found regarding this coffee mill places it around the 1940's, though KitchenAid has been making versions of this style for decades. The faded color and chipped paint on its metal base show how much use this has gotten over the years, fueling people's mornings over and over again. The original on/off switch has been replaced with a modern replica, and rewired with a fabric wrapped cord. To diffuse the light and create a warmer glow, an easily removable frosted tube has been added around the bulb. Showcasing this in your kitchen will not only provide a nice, inviting light, but will also be a great conversation piece!
