Mueller-Schmidt House

The Mueller-Schmidt house is one of the oldest remaining residences in Dodge City. It is a rare example of a stone house in an area where stone is less easily accessible than in other parts of Kansas. The house was built for John Mueller, a boot maker who had emigrated from southern Germany by way of St. Louis.
