INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS
New Tile Installation
Install wall tile with joint spacing of 1/16″ (1.5 mm) or larger.
Install grout leaving the area (corner) where the shelf will be installed open.
After the grout has set, fill the open corner with silicone or another appropriate sealant.
Insert the shelf into the wall and add temporary support to hold the shelf if needed.
Apply silicone or another appropriate sealant to both the top and bottom joint between the shelf and wall tile.
After Tile Installation
Mark the grout where the four shelf tabs will be inserted.
Remove grout from these four areas using an appropriate grout removal tool.
Fill the four openings in the grout joint with silicone or another appropriate sealant.
Insert the shelf into the wall and add temporary support to hold the shelf if needed.
Apply silicone or another appropriate sealant to both the top and bottom joint between the shelf and wall tile.
