The box is engraved, sanded, stained, and sealed to make it last. This piece has 5 jars and measures approximately 16.25 inches wide by 5 inches deep. *** Every piece of wood is unique and different and takes stain in its own way. Which means there might be some imperfections (cracks, knots, holes, grain, etc) in the wood. This should be expected with wood and we believe this adds character and a unique look to each stove cover. We strive hard to provide high quality products, but wood grains are impossible to predict, so if perfection is something you can't live without, we do not suggest ordering these.
