A rare wine glass. The cup is made of glass. The handle and the foot are made of pewter. A very nice contrast. The wine glass is heavy in the hand. The goblet is made of thick-walled glass. For example as a special reference for a guest of honor in the house. The glass was produced by today's company "Röders Tec". The company was founded around 1800 by Jasper Röders in Soltau (Germany). Pewter crockery was made for the citizens of Soltau and the surrounding towns. His son Georg Röders later made pewter figures of such beauty that he was released from military service. He later began the very successful production of tin taps. Today the company is managed by the 6th generation.
