Living With the Enemy, A Diary of the Japanese Occupation …
Living With the Enemy, A Diary of the Japanese Occupation …
This is a book that I highly recommend. It is more humanistic than any other book I have read on the Japanese occupation of the Philippines. It doesn’t go so much into war statistics but into how a young wife that was married to a young doctor was thinking during the trying times and life struggles caused by the occupation. For me this was a mind changer. Read it and I think you will understand what I mean by mind changer.
